dequestioning the self of one’s own knowledge

To be, or not to be, that is the question. If I were to commit a crime, I would hang my head in shame, but father, I am tempted. Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me into the deepening desire of carnal knowledge, of the forbidden fruit. Options are one thing, but the mystique of the known/unknown is leading me astray in the most ridiculous way. For I would if I could, but I’d love to, thanks for the offer. You know not what I mean, and this is surely a good thing, for knowledge is power, and power is irrevocably, undeniably going to be my downfall in such circumstances. Be that as it may, these things are sent to try me. And I shall try, but whether I try to deny, or try to achieve, THAT, father, is the question.
