oooh.. another thing that happened on friday… franz told me when my solo show for next year is.. April 6 to May 2, if anyone is interested.. its odd that he just assumed that i would be ok with that.. well, regardless, i am ok with that. but .. and my ego is taking over here.. i’m impressed that he just assumed i would have a solo there.. he’s got a great reputation as a gallery, and he’s downsizing his program (ie: he’s making it more elite.. fewer artists, less crap).. so he wants me in a show with two other female painters (lucy griggs and jewel mackenzie).. and gasp it follows a show by rod bunter.. d;kfsad;kfsa fear .. talk about industry pressure.. i have to come up with the goods following rod bunter? aaaaaaaaaaaaahhh.. for those who don’t know.. bunter is a name here.. he’s had major shows all over the place, and his work is vAry post-modern-pop.. and vAry popular.. mucho like ben frost.. and many people are saying i’m turning into the female ben frost (aaaaaaahhhhh….haalp. i don’t wanna be that).. so wow and all that jazz… i don’t want to get ahead of myself, and i never take any of this too seriously… but.. wow.
