Saturn, the planet of caution, discipline and karma, isn’t one to rush; it takes 29-and-a-half-years to cycle around the Sun. Like Jupiter, Saturn turns retrograde for about four-and-a-half months each year, and this current transit, which begins Wednesday night, will last until early 2002.
During any retrograde period, the best-laid plans tend to go haywire. When Saturn becomes retrograde, we often work harder than usual and think more cautiously about our actions. This isn’t the time to make an impulsive decision about your job or relationship; rather, slow down and really contemplate what your best move would be. It is, however, a great time to reconsider and reevaluate past decisions; reflect about what you could have done differently, and learn some important lessons along the way.
Like that “favorite” teacher who pushed you to your limits, Saturn is a strict taskmaster who expects great things from you. When Saturn is in the intellectual Air Sign of Gemini, it requires us to handle communication and intellectual pursuits with integrity and maturity. Although you may feel like telling a coworker what you really think about him, you’ll also feel compelled to handle the situation responsibly, tactfully and respectfully.
tell me about it….
