The opening went really well (honestly, one of the biggest openings I’ve seen at Soapbox for a long time – you could say there were too many people there). Catching up with people I haven’t seen in ages, the ones who I didn’t get the chance to say goodbye to before I left town in June, and I only get to see them a week before I leave again. Oh well. T’was good though. Bec and Deb and Kim and Vic and Archie and Leon and Shaun and oh-so-many-more and spending the evening loitering around with Daniel and meeting some of his ‘posse’ and introducing him to some of mine (and noticing that there were a few missing) and a little explanation and a lot of little things that make me curiouser and curiouser but they may be things that I shouldn’t be curious about (?). And too much wine on an empty stomach and down to the Valley mall to eat and mum calls to see how it all went and then leaving in a taxi impulsively sending a text message (that really was from the heart). And upon reading, I’m curiouser still, but curiosity is one thing, life is another.
